ATTENTION property owners seeking to protest your property tax value:

Thank you for enrolling!

Due to the pending deadline for filing a protest today (May 17, 2021), we will not be able to file your protest if your protest deadline is on May 17th. However, you can still sign up as our client and we can still represent you.

  • If your Value Notice is dated on or before April 17th, your protest deadline is May 17th and you will need to file your own protest. Please file your own protest at this time.
  • If your Value Notice is dated April 18th or after, and you provide us a minimum of 3 days notice to protest your account, O’Connor will file your protest.

If your deadline to file a protest is May 17th or you are unsure, click here to download the form to file your own protest

There are different methods for submitting your protest for different counties (i.e. online filing, mail, in person, etc.). Please visit your county appraisal district website or contact them directly to learn more. As long as you are able to submit your properly completed protest form to the county by end of business today (May 17th ) or have your properly completed protest form post marked with today’s date (May 17th ), you will have submitted your protest form on time to protest your value.

If you filed your own protest and your hearing is within 10 days of signing up electronically, we cannot guarantee our attendance at your hearing. Please call our office to speak to a customer support representative.

Please submit any correspondences you receive from the county regarding property tax matters to us from this point on so that we may be able to represent you at your property tax hearing. Our customer service team will be sending you a new client package with important forms for you to complete.

Thank you for your business. We look forward to fighting for lower tax values on your behalf.
